Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha course, an
opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of
thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
What is Alpha?
- Alpha is a FREE course, over 10 weeks and gives an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.
- It’s relaxed non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.
- There is a light meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.
- Listen, learn discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
- The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith.
What’s involved?
The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such
as “Who is Jesus?” and “Why and how do I pray?” After each talk we
divide into small groups for a time of discussion.
