Hi,

I’m Andrew Jenkins, and have been leading Newport Gateway Church since January 2002.

I serve as Pastor of the church and try to make my talks practical, relevant and easy to understand. I’m passionate about building real, productive relationships with people – both within and outside of the church.

Duties: Prayer, study and preaching, while undertaking a range of pastoral responsibilities. Helping to provide direction for the church, and general oversight and administration of NGC.

Family: It’s been a blessing to be married to Joyce for 28 years. We have two grown-up children – Joe and Nick.

Things I enjoy: Spending time with my wife and family, nature, skiing, walking, hiking, watching and playing sports, reading

Hope and vision for NGC: That NGC continues to develop into the church God wants it to be, as we help people become followers of Christ.

But I don’t lead NGC alone. I appreciate the support of a group of leaders in our church who also care about people and do their best to show them the love of God. We hope you enjoy the site, and would love to see you.
